The AICEME sponsors three key conferences each year. Information and Registration for these conferences is handled at the local church level.
The Pastors and Spouses Conference: In the spring of each year a ‘Pastors and Spouses’ conference is held somewhere in the territory of the Association. One of our member churches hosts a week of worship, education opportunities, some touring of key historical or contemporary sites related to the presence of the christian witness and a lot of fellowship and good food. Collegial connections can be a challenge for anyone serving international congregations and their families. This yearly event has been a wonderful example of support from the Association and its member churches to the pastors and their spouses. Recent conferences have been held in the Vienna, Austria and Bratislava, Slovakia; Geneva and Interlaken, Switzerland; the Holy Lands; Berlin and Wittenberg, Germany; Antalya, Turkey; London, UK; and Paris, France. The 2019 Pastors and Spouses Conference will be 4-11 February 2019 in Cairo, Egypt.
The Youth Conference: Each fall the youth of the Association member churches are hosted by a member church for four days of songs, laughter, sharing and exploring their faith in a safe and welcoming community of their peers.Youth aged 14 to 19 and representing the rich diversity of traditions, cultures and backgrounds characteristic of international churches, come together each year to renew old friendships and discover new ones. Through the amazing leadership of Association youth pastors, adult volunteers and the youth themselves, this event continues to grow and strengthen as it nurtures a new generation of church leaders. The 2019 Youth Conference is 31 October - 3 November 2019. Email the Association secretary for more details.
The Youth Leaders Conference: Each winter youth pastors, youth workers and volunteer youth leaders from the Association and other churches gather to exchange ideas, share experiences and support one another in their various essential ministries to the youth and young adults of their respective congregations. This event has been generously supported by one of the Association churches as well as through the Association itself. Through the event we have been blessed by a strengthening of the annual Youth Conference (see above) and the youth and young adult ministries of many of our Association churches.
